OEM Key Remote Start

Bluetooth PPK (Proximity Unlock)

What is Bluetooth PPK?

Bluetooth PPK (Passive Proximity Key) turns your smartphone into a key for your vehicle.

When you approach the vehicle with your phone in your pocket, the system detects your phone via Bluetooth and automatically unlocks the doors. When you walk away, the vehicle can automatically lock.

This is the same convenience feature found on newer luxury vehicles, but added to your Audi through the remote start system.

How it works:

    •    As you walk up → Doors unlock automatically

    •    As you walk away → Doors lock automatically

LTE service is free for the first year, then approximately $49.95 per year if you choose to continue the cellular service.

2018+ Audi Models

For most 2018 and newer Audi models, one factory key must be connected to the remote start module inside the vehicle.

This key is securely installed within the system and only communicates with the car when the remote start is activated.

Important security notes:

• The factory immobilizer remains active
• The vehicle cannot be driven without a valid key present
• If someone enters the vehicle while it is remote started, the engine shuts off when the brake pedal is pressed unless the key is detected
